This February, Jesse Remington High School welcomed a group of students from Korea! Their visit is an exciting opportunity to experience American culture and school life while building lasting friendships with our students. This incredible exchange was made possible through Taewon Jin, a valued supporter of JRHS and the Korean archery instructor for our Outdoor Education program.

Our first shared experience together was in Chapel, where Korean and American students, alongside their chaperones and faculty, came together in worship. Pastor Rich Clegg delivered an inspiring message on “Monuments,” setting the tone for a meaningful time of connection and growth.
Throughout the week, some of the Korean students have been immersing themselves in campus life—attending classes and embracing the unique aspects of American schooling which includes navigating our New England snow and cold. From the classroom to the outdoors, every moment has been an opportunity to learn, share, and grow together.
We’re especially excited for the upcoming events that will further enrich this cultural exchange, including another Chapel service, sledding adventures, bowling, and a Daikonos Dinner on March 7th! This special evening will be a beautiful celebration of both Korean and American traditions, bringing our school community together for a shared meal and fellowship.
Let’s continue to extend warm hospitality and friendship as we make this an unforgettable experience for our guests!
