Team Philadelphia was eager to get back to work today

By Carter Martens, Faculty

Another great day in the City of Brotherly Love. Today we went back to work after our day in the Old City and Lancaster County. Fully fed and nourished, we eagerly went back to work today.

Team DB: Our team started a new job in one of the partner churches with TPP.  We worked on two different jobs in two different rooms.  The lower team began installing framing and insulation for a Sunday school room and they are looking forward to finishing the job tomorrow.  Upper team did some roof demolition and laid up some drywall; they are looking to finish tomorrow with some mudding and taping.

Team SS:  Our team had the joy of finishing a painting project for a local family. The team worked and encouraged one another to do our best remembering that we should always work as unto the Lord! From trim painting to moving furniture and final floor cleaning everyone had a great time encouraging another.

Team JP: Today we noted marked progress on the Miss B Basement job. Now that the ugly work of the first couple days is over, the team enjoyed putting up the new walls, and even onto the accomplished feeling of putting up the drywall. A few cuts, a few bumps and bruises, and the project is coming along really well.
