Team Hungry is prepared to serve with familiar friends in Budapest and Kiskőrös

By Kim Rairdon

Team Hungary is eagerly anticipating the start of our mission trip!  Often a team from Jesse sets out with a purpose, but not much connection with the mission destination. This trip is unique in that we are traveling to minister with a group of Hungarians that we already call our friends. Back in October, 23 Hungarian students and adults journeyed to New Hampshire to spend 10 days experiencing what life is like here as well as getting the opportunity to serve and build relationships. Now, 10 students and 4 adults from Jesse are traveling to Budapest and then on to Kiskőrös, where we will get the opportunity to visit and serve in schools, churches, an elderly home and a Christian media company.  We are all excited to see what life is like for the visitors that we now call friends.  For some this will be their first time out of the country. Some have been practicing the language and are eager to test out their Hungarian.  Some are excited to help lead worship service in the Hungarian church.  Overall, the group is excited to be strong representatives for Jesse Remington as we travel halfway around the globe to explore more of the amazing world that God has blessed us with.
