Team Hungry has arrived in Budapest!

Team Hungary has made it!  After boarding a mostly empty plane, the team spread out with most even got their own row, and settled in for an attempted night's sleep. A brief stop in Munich provided us with yummy coffee, and German strudel and pastries.

Shortly after, we arrived in Budapest!!  We were greeted by familiar faces and then loaded up into the vans and headed to the castle district.  For the next couple of hours, we were able to walk around and see some of the amazing architecture and learn a bit of history.  For a snack, we stopped and got chimney cakes cooked in the traditional Hungarian way over open coals.  

We loaded back into the vans for a drive to Kiskoros where we were excitedly met by our host families.  

A whirlwind of a couple of days for sure.  Jet lagged bodies, but excited spirits abound as we’ll look forward to tomorrow!  Goodnight from Hungary!
