Senior Feature: Tim Carlson

Tim Carlson of Candia has been a student at Jesse Remington High School for his entire high school journey. The class that has had the most impact on his faith is Bible. Mr. Hannan, his teacher, has played a significant role in shaping Tim's faith and helping him feel comfortable in his beliefs. The class has challenged Tim with thought-provoking material that has strengthened his faith and kept him focused.

One of the most memorable experiences for Tim was the Senior Retreat held at the beginning of the year. He truly enjoyed bonding with his classmates who are an incredible group of individuals. Tim is excited to see where their faith journey will lead them. The retreat emphasized the joy of being together and worshiping as a group. 

Tim describes his class as a group of strong leaders in their community. They take pride in their work, put in a lot of effort, and are leaders among their peers. They deeply value their faith and support one another in various ways.

In terms of future plans, Tim intends to continue working at Dependable Hood and Duct Cleaning, specializing in kitchen exhaust cleaning. He has found a place there, either temporarily or permanently. Living with his parents will allow him to save money, and he hopes to someday have enough for a down-payment on his own home. Additionally, Tim wants to stay involved in the Jesse Remington community by participating in mission trips and assisting Coach Langlois with the basketball team.

Tim’s guiding verse can be found in Psalm 62:7-8,“On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.” This verse reminds Tim to trust in God and seek refuge in Him in all aspects of his life.
