Senior Feature: Marah Langlois

Writer: Jeff PhilbrickJeff Philbrick

Marah Langlois from Candia has been a part of Jesse Remington for most of her life, but officially as a high school student for the past four years. Her favorite subject at Jesse has definitely been Physics, even though it was quite challenging. Marah mentioned, “It [Physics] pushed me to new limits and I still use and think about the concepts we studied in that class.”

Out of all the memories she made at Jesse Remington, the ones that really stand out are the ones she shared with her fellow seniors. The times they spent bonding and growing together during senior retreat, fall mountain retreat, and movie nights are moments that she will always treasure and hold close to her heart.

She describes her class as not only a lot of fun, but also very spiritually mature. Together, they have all strengthened their faith and supported each other in becoming better individuals. As for her life verse, it is  Psalm 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." This verse serves as a reminder for Marah to seek peace in God's presence and have faith in His plans, knowing that He will be glorified worldwide.
