Senior Feature: Isaiah Cross

Writer: Jeff PhilbrickJeff Philbrick

Isaiah Cross of Deerfield NH is in his 4th year of high school at Jesse Remington. His best memories are his past two missions trip experiences. Last year in Detroit, he recalls how much he learned and grew in technical skills and in relationship with those around him. This year, Isaiah traveled overseas to Hungary where he grew in leadership and personal ministry skills. He highlights specifically how despite the language barrier, he has made lifelong friends from across the world. Isaiah has also grown his skills and leadership through his favorite class of maple sugaring. About his classmates, Isaiah remarks that though they started as a particularly divided class they have grown close over the years and have proven their resilience through conflict and trials. Isaiah is still unsure with what he wants to do next year but is considering trade school. His favorite verse is Psalm 23:4.
