This summer The Samuelson Family has been blessed with two amazing opportunities to share in God’s kingdom work, Firstly with J.A.A.R.S. in Waxhaw, NC. And Secondly at Camp Mission Meadows in Dewittville, NY.
Working with JAARS was an educational opportunity where The Samuelson's partnered with Bridgeway Christian Church to learn about a missions organization dedicated to “Jungle, Aviation And Relay Services”. Their Mission at JAARS is to help missionaries around the globe to go “the last mile” through specialized Aviation, Sea Operation, and Land Vehicle services and training. They were able to serve through some physical tasks, trainings, and at the missionary retirement center on the JAARS base.
From North Carolina, The Samuelson's headed to New York, to where Jacob and Ellie first met at Camp Mission Meadows. Jacob was invited to be the speaker for the Junior High camp week, and Ellie has been hard at work blessing their full time and summer staff through staff focused worship services and prayer meetings. Jacob spent the week speaking about how God’s Agape love is so much greater than what the world can offer and ended the week by sharing the Gospel of Jesus’ sacrifice as the ultimate example of love.
Little Jimmy was popular in both North Carolina and New York, bringing smiles and laughter wherever he went! Praise the Lord for these great opportunities that the Samuelson Family was blessed with!
