What do you love about Jesse Remington High School and why?

The genuine care and desire to see each student succeed from the teachers and faculty is unlike anywhere else.  And most importantly, I love their focus on keeping Christ the center of all they do. 

Why did you choose Jesse Remington High School for your children?

Jesse Remington is a unique high school that focuses on growing the whole child. The small classes and low student to teacher ratio allow for a level of attentiveness that just isn’t possible at other places. 

What expected and unexpected growth have you seen in your JRHS students?

My students have achieved successes they never thought possible before attending Jesse.  I’ve had a sworn math-and-science-hater develop an appreciation for both and go on to pursue a career in those fields.  Further, I’ve seen my students’ study skills and habits and the way in which they tackle seemingly insurmountable tasks improved as well.  

In what ways have you seen your children grow in their faith as a result of their experiences at Jesse Remington High School?

My children have become more confident in responding to people questioning what and why they believe what they do.  They’ve also really helped grow into making their relationship with Christ their own, and not just doing it because their family does it.  Also, seeing how God is present in every subject, not just a specific Bible class, has allowed them to identify God’s presence in their everyday lives.

What is the one word your family would use to describe the JRHS experience?

Edifying

What would you tell other parents to encourage them to consider enrolling their children at JRHS?

If you are looking for a “whole child” Christian education, that extends beyond just preparing them for standardized tests and with a core staff that has made this their mission field, then come check our JRHS.  Their desire and methods of partnering with you on the growth of your student is unique and an opportunity I’m so glad God provided us.
