What do you love about Jesse Remington High School and why?
I have always loved the commitment to providing quality Christian education that prepares students for life through liberal arts courses and project based learning. The culture and the learning is something that I have cherished my entire life.
What experiences at JRHS have most impacted your spiritual life?
The day-to-day discussions with fellow students was always a highlight. Each student was encouraged to discuss and think critically about their beliefs and to learn more about Christ through classes and daily discussions. This was always a big part of the missions trips as well. My trip to Japan was especially significant in my spiritual growth.
What experiences at JRHS have most impacted your family life?
Jesse Remington has been such a positive force in my family through the impact it has had on each person that has been in close proximity to the school. Each member has reached out to those closest to them and encouraged them to look into Jesse Remington. Those who have were very thankful they did and have had positive experiences with the school.
What experiences at JRHS have most impacted your school or work life?
Jesse Remington set me up very well to succeed in college and in my work. The CAD courses they provided helped give me a launching off point for engineering and design work. Additionally, the work ethic that was instilled has served me very well in my professional work.
What is the one word you would use to describe the JRHS experience?
Fulfilling
What would you tell parents to encourage them to consider enrolling their children at JRHS?
There is no education like that which is found at Jesse Remington. The project based learning really is something that sets the school apart as it encourages creativity, critical thinking and really enhances the school experience. Additionally, the education helps prepare students for real world problems and higher education. All of this and the main focus of the school is not lost, an education with Christ at the center.
