By Chloe (Cyr) Nossyr ('18)

In 2018, I graduated from JRHS and moved to Minneapolis, MN to pursue a bachelors in Psychology. While earning my degree, I met my now husband Nicky. Together, we live, work, and learn in Minneapolis. I am currently working in children’s mental health, and am almost halfway through my graduate program, pursuing a Master’s in Social Work. My husband, Nicky, and I are passionate about the local church, and together lead a small group and teach pre-k in our congregation. We do whatever we can to get outside and into the community and are loving this stage of life.

JRHS’s rigor prepared me for my bachelors degree and beyond. I feel that I owe a great deal of my communication, critical thinking, and presentation skills to my learning at JRHS. Moreover, the servant leadership values that were instilled during my time at JRHS contributed to my passion for, and success in, the helping professions. Knowing who you are, what your purpose is, and how to live in light of those truths is essential, and I feel that JRHS played a key role in my identity formation.
