Susan Sicard
Susan Sicard is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and a member of the teaching faculty specializing in Math and Science. As the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, her main focus is to collaborate with teachers in enhancing their teaching skills. In her role as a Math and Science teacher, Susan finds joy in working with students on a daily basis, assisting them in their learning journey.
Susan's ultimate goal as an educator is to ensure that graduates from JRHS leave with confidence, knowing that they are well-prepared for their future endeavors. She believes in empowering students to utilize their God-given gifts and talents to serve others.

Carter Martens
Carter Martens is a developing teacher who specializes in teaching math and science to students at Jesse. With a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Educational Studies, Carter is well-equipped to provide quality education to his students. Outside of teaching, Carter enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his parents Audrey and Eric, as well as his sister Laura. In his free time, Carter engages in various activities such as playing board games, participating in role-playing games, hiking, skiing, rock climbing, and practicing martial arts. When it comes to literature, Carter is particularly fond of anything written by C.S. Lewis. As for his future goals, Carter is determined to complete ACSI certification. Lastly, Carter describes the most breathtaking experience of his life as the view he witnessed while hiking up a glacier in Iceland.

Carter Martens is one of my favorite teachers. He goes the extra mile for his students and is a great teacher. My son enjoys learning from him, and I know that Mr. Martens prays for my son and all the students. I couldn't ask for more.
