Beautiful 8’ x 10’ Garden/Tool Shed for Sale!

In the Post and Beam Construction project class, the students at Jesse Remington learn important skills in the realm of hard work, persistence, and project management. This class, led by Headmaster Jeff Philbrick, has completed some outstanding projects in the past, notably the Rivendell Pavilion on the JRHS campus. The students collaborate to teach each other the skills needed to complete the elegant timber framed structures. When asked directly about the class, Emma Cross said the most interesting thing she has learned is, “When you’re chiseling a mortise, you have to recheck it, like four times, to make sure it's correct.” The students are learning how to be thorough with the work that is important to them. This year the JRHS Timber Frame group is constructing an 8’ x 10’ garden or tool shed that will soon be ready for a prospective buyer.
